DOUJINSHI?
Doujinshis are fan made mangas. Just like the fan fics, but like a manga, duh!. The artists publish them and are selled a little more expensive than the original mangas. But most of the times the art is great! also the story. There are various types of doujinshis, parting from serious stories, passing by yaoi to finish with hentai. I personally like the yaoi and gag doujinshis. The doujinshi artists belong to groups named circles, I think is like a type of editorial, but not exactly. A circle has various artists that publishes their own doujinshis, sometimes two artists or more make a doujinshi with 2, 3 or more different stories, if the doujinshi has a lot of stories they're called anthologies.
Where to find doujinshis
Umm.. usually they're sold in Japan, but you can also find some on the internet.
